Ordinarily I try to update so that a new strip is up on Monday morning, but I am running late this week, sorry. It may be up tomorrow morning- Wednesday morning at the latest. Not much progress on the weekend, not on the comic anyway.. I did finish pencilling the first page and scanned it to do some inking tests, which only served to remind me of how much practise I need as an inker. It occured to me yesterday that I probably shouldn't get too hung up on the finished-page-every-two-days thing when I'm drawing the GN this upcoming year. I still want to make that schedule but it might be better for me to pencil a whole issue at a time, then spend a while inking, etc., instead of penciling one page, then inking, and so on, just in case I need to reflow the story or whatever.

Yarrr, going to be tired again today. I was up until about 2:30 printing Xmas pictures for cards and finishing another holiday project (my part of it, anyway). I was up again at 5:30 to feed Jack, who was pretty hungry considering he went to bed about 12 hours before that. I won't make any bones about it: I feel like fucking crap today. It probably started at about 1 AM on Sunday, when I laid down after the Swayze party (which I did very much enjoy, thanks to everyone for coming) and got the spins. Bad. Off to the bathroom I went, embracing my pal the toilet. When I went back to bed, it was 3 AM. I'm not sure exactly what happened in the intervening 2 hours.
